MEDICO-LEGAL REFRESHER COURSE

Are you a medical expert?
Is it over 3 years since you trained?

The aim of this course is to update your knowledge of the law and the rules.

We believe that it is good practice for expert witnesses to undergo refresher training of at least 3 hours every 3 years. In doing so you can ensure that you produce a high quality, compliant report for those instructing you. You will also ensure that you do not incur the wrath of the Court for failing to comply with the CPR. A failure to comply might result in a sanction against the expert which could involve a significant amount.

This 3 hour course will cover all of the above issues, bringing you right up to date with changes in the rules and changes in the law. It is essential for those who have undertaken some training in the past, but who have not updated their knowledge since October 2009.

Please note that delegates who have not attended a previous medico-legal training course (either with us or a different training provider), will not be eligible to attend this course. It is not a substitute for the full day standard medico-legal training course.

You will receive a Course Pack including a FREE CD containing a number of useful documents and course materials.

Duration of course: 3 hours training

Morning session timings: 9.45am to 1.00pm

Afternoon session timings: 2.00pm to 5.15pm
