MEDICO-LEGAL REFRESHER COURSE

Are you a medical expert?
Is it over 3 years since you trained?
Have you undertaken any refresher training since October 2009?

This course, which provides 5 hours of CPD, covers all of the above issues and bringing you right up to date with changes in the rules and changes in the law. It is essential for those who have undertaken some training in the past, but who have not updated their knowledge since October 2009.

It is good practice for expert witnesses to undergo refresher training every 3 years. In doing so you can ensure that you continue to produce high quality, compliant reports for those instructing you. You will also ensure that you do not incur the wrath of the Court for failing to comply with the CPR. A failure to comply might result in a sanction against the expert which could involve a significant amount.

Please note that delegates who have not attended a previous medico-legal training course (either with us or a different training provider), will not be eligible to attend this course. It is not a substitute for the standard medico-legal training course.

You will receive a Course Pack including a number of useful documents and course materials.

Duration of course: 9.45am to 4.15pm
